Lovington Schools Announces New Administrators

Lovington, NM (June 5, 2023) On June 5, 2023, Superintendent Quiñones announced the new Principal of New Hope High School, Mrs. Gina Hutchins.  Mrs. Hutchins is the current Yarbro Elementary Principal and will replace Mark Mapes, who is moving to the Special Education Coordinator position for Lovington Schools. Mrs. Lori Alexander, former Special Services Coach, will be replacing Mrs. Hutchins as the new Principal of Yarbro Elementary.  Mrs. Alexander has been with the district for 3 years and was both an administrator and teacher in Texas.  Superintendent Quiñones believes all three administrators will serve our district well in their new roles and are great assets to the administrative team.
