Lovington, NM (May 8, 2026) — Superintendent Quiñones announced Brandi DeLong as the new Assistant Director of Special Programs for Lovington Municipal Schools, a position currently held by Mr. Mapes.  

Mrs. DeLong brings experience in building administration, instructional coaching, teaching, and has worked as a special education director in Texas. Superintendent Quiñones believes Mrs. DeLong will be a powerful asset to our district as a leader who is driven to help all students become positive, contributing members of our community.
