Retirement Party for Mr. Claud Hamaker (1/27/16)
Press Release 1/21/16
Today the administration at Taylor Middle School responded to a report of a weapon on school property. A handgun was recovered in a school locker. The investigation has been turned over to the Lovington police. We do not believe the student intended to harm anyone on the school campus. Parents should be reassured that the school district has safety protocols in place and were followed. Necessary measures were taken to ensure the safety of all students and staff.
